This weekend {big surprise} was another busy one. Friday, Eugene & I spent time home and alone, doing nothing. I was so burnt out, exhausted, and even physically sick from a rough week at work, a Friday night at home was just what the doctor ordered.
Saturday, we drove to Granville for one of my teammate’s wedding. She was a Middle Hitter {like me}, so we spent many o’ hours together in the gym, on the bus, in the hotel, and in the weight room.
It was a beautiful {hot} outdoor ceremony, and a fun & unique reception.
It was so nice catching up with the “fab 5” – the great girls I graduated with…we had an amazing volleyball career together {only lost one match our entire senior year!} :)
It was great to have an evening out with the hubs too.
I also caught up with my assistant coach, now close friend, who lives in Georgia. {I often get mistaken for her when I hang around Witt.}
We left a little early because I had to work a few hours for the end of another wedding reception.
Sunday, I was blessed {wondrous thing} with a full day with baby Cate, Casey & Dale.
I love this girl!
We had a family potluck for friends & family to meet the newest addition to our family.
Lots of food at our get-togethers!
Baby Cate even got to meet her great Grandma. {Precious!}
Eugene & I stayed there late last night just chatting. I’m so thankful for this time with my sister & her beautiful family!
Glad to see that the fab 5 is still fabulous. :]
