Iced over.

So unless you’ve been living under a rock, or on a tropical island {in which case, I envy you}, you know that much of the country has been hit hard by serious weather. Over the last 48 hours, we received a thick layer of ice coating everything.

 

We were welcomed to home ownership at 12:30 am when our tree branches decided they couldn’t handle the pressure under the ice & broke onto our neighbor’s deck. Lovely.

 

But the ice did provide some great props for pics. :)

We’re without power today, so we’re mooching off Eugene’s parents & enjoying their heat & internet for a few hours. {Praying our pipes don’t freeze!} And really enjoying the slower pace God’s forced us into.
