Eugene & I spent Mother’s Day celebrating his brother’s graduation from Bluffton University. We were blessed with absolutely beautiful weather {wondrous thing} for the car ride & outdoor ceremony. Here’s some pics from the day.
The graduates marched into the stadium…
Two meaningful roses on stage to remember two students that passed away, one a friend & soccer teammate of Dillan…
There’s the graduate, pretty much surrounded by ladies…go figure!
Waiting for his name to be read…
Shaking hands with the President of the University…
Hugs from a proud papa…
Squinty smiles in the bright sunshine…
Quick posed pic with Dillan’s friend & both brothers…
Hugging goodbye to friends…
I love that Eugene has such a close relationship with his brother. Best friends & brothers walking back to the dorm…
We went out to dinner together to celebrate & then helped him pack up his {dirty} dorm room. ;) I should also note that, despite the rough economy, Dillan was able to snag not one, but two job offers fresh outta college. He’ll start his new career in IT later this month. We’re super happy for him!
What a small small world! I LOVE your blog! I was looking at an old post I had missed when I came upon your BIL graduation. My daughter was a freshman this year at Bluffton and when showing her the posts, she knew your BIL. What a beautiful campus! She loves it there and congrats to him!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a small world, indeed! Graduation was the first time I saw the campus, and I agree, it's very beautiful! :)
